Brand Identity 🔗 Creative Direction 🔗 Print Design

Maria and Carlos Rivera are a design-conscious couple in their 40s who decided to honor their grandmothers' legacy by creating something meaningful in the community. Both of their abuelas emigrated from Oaxaca in the 1960s, bringing with them rich traditions of textile work, pottery, and cooking that shaped the family's identity.
The challenge: How do you celebrate a rich cultural heritage without turning it into decoration? How do you create a brand that feels rooted in tradition but speaks fluently to modern sensibilities? Skycrest needed to feel elevated and contemporary—clean architecture, thoughtful spaces—but it also needed soul.

Design Direction:
-
Warm, earthy color palette inspired by Oaxacan art and landscapes
-
Emphasis on natural materials, handcrafted details, and artisanal elements
-
Spaces that encourage community gathering and cultural celebration
-
Botanical elements reflecting native Mexican flora, particularly cacti and agave

We took the architectural floor plans and transformed them into branded assets—clean, modern layouts infused with the same earthy palette and thoughtful typography. They became part of the visual language, not just functional documents. The brand needed to live in physical space as beautifully as it did on screen. From window signage to stationery systems, every piece was designed to feel cohesive and intentional.
